Celebrating the Windrush Line

Hackney is set to welcome back its annual Windrush Festival this June to honour the contributions made by the Windrush Generation and their descendants. The festival will be a chance to discover, learn about, and celebrate a part of British history and its legacy within Hackney.

About This Event

In honour of this year’s Windrush Day and the launch of the new Windrush Line, Arriva Rail invite you to a heartfelt commemoration at Dalston Junction Station. In collaboration with the Windrush Foundation, this intimate gathering will celebrate the enduring legacy and contributions of the Windrush generation and their descendants.

Free. Just turn up to Dalston Junction Station at 3pm.
