About This Event
Join us for an opportunity to view inside the newly restored Chapel. Abney Park Trust are hosting two 20 minute long talks giving an insight into the history of the Chapel, with the opportunity to explore and photograph the interior. The tours run from from 11-11.30am and again at 12-12.30pm. If you just want a chance to see the building, please feel free to drop in to our open house times on the same day, from 11.30am-12pm and again from 12.30pm-1pm. We are starting to gather stories from local people about their memories of the Chapel - come and share yours with us. Information about Abney Park Trust will be available on the day, including a wide range of volunteering opportunities. Service dogs welcome. Accompanying carers welcome. Ramp access at Church Street entrance, level access at Stoke Newington High Street entrance. The ground floor of the Chapel is fully accessible and there are accessible toilets available onsite. Dogs on leads welcome in the Chapel, toilets and baby changing facilities available.
