Earth Day Open Afternoon

Come and see what’s happening in the Herb Garden this spring. It’s a chance to visit the garden and spend time with others.
About This Event
To celebrate Earth Day, we’ll be hosting a talk as part of the event and discuss how herbs can massively increase biodiversity and support wildlife. The talk will cover the many roles that plants play in the garden looking at some specific examples in the garden of both wild and cultivated herbs. We’ll also share how we as gardeners can have a beneficial environmental impact even when gardening in small urban spaces. The talk will start at 3pm and be about 30 minutes long. We will have herbal tea, cakes and some plants for sale. Please bring a cup/mug for tea to help us reduce waste at the event! No booking is required
