About This Event

Did you come to the women’s film and video screenings at the Rio in the late 1970s, 1980s or early 1990s? Were you a member of the Rio Women’s Cinema, the Women’s Media Resource Project, or did you work at the Rio? If so, we would love to hear from you! This illustrated talk will share research conducted in the Rio’s archive, excavating a feminist history of women’s film and video programming and community media activism. Please come along to share your memories and memorabilia.  To book your space, please visit: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/hackneyhistoryfestival/1589821
