To start South Asian Heritage Month 2025, Hackney Libraries present The Secret Diary of an Arranged Marriage: In Conversation with Halima Khatun.

For this exclusive event, Halima Khatun will be discussing her writing process and reading from her book The Secret Diary of an Arranged Marriage, the first in her ongoing series The Secret Diary of a Bengali Woman.

This is an online event. The talk will begin at 6.15pm, and finish at 7.30pm.
