Hackney Museum is looking for volunteers to help research content for a new display that identifies and tells the stories of these bombsites and the people affected. With opportunities for research, transcribing first hand accounts or street photography.
Transcription volunteers will help make first hand accounts of the bombing of civilians during the Second World War accessible for visitors by typing up the text from historical documents. These records will then be used to create touch-screen digital interactive in Hackney Museum for visitors to bring the stories of those impacted by the Blitz to life.

In-person training and meetings with Hackney Museum staff can take place on weekdays only. Travel and Lunch expenses may be reimbursed.
