About This Event

In addition at midday, Abney Park Trust are hosting a 30 minute long talk at 12pm, about Abney resident, Rebecca Jarrett, activist and one time sex worker. Come and learn about her extraordinary life and how her courage, faith and relationship with the Salvation Army helped to change Victorian laws to better protect girls and young women. Please join us, with the opportunity ask questions, to explore and to photograph the interior of the Chapel.

We would also like to gather stories from local people about their memories of the Chapel - come and share yours with us. Information about Abney Park Trust will also be available on the day.
