Hackney Community Orchestra

About This Event

Initially set up under the auspices of the Hackney Music Service, Hackney Community Orchestra is a group for re-starters, learners, and anyone who wants to play music with a friendly bunch of people. Their repertoire ranges from baroque to pop and is arranged for any instrument and almost all abilities.

Under the directorship of Chris Harrison, they meet every Thursday in term time at The Bridge Academy and hold concerts several times a year. They also run late sessions for smaller instrument groups after our main rehearsals such as string orchestra, flute choir and jazz band.

Hackney Community Orchestra takes place every Thursday during term time, from 6.30-8pm.
