Grand Union: An Evening of Cross-Cultural Music

Get ready for a night of live music, from Jazz and Indie/ rock bands to spoken words and poetry.

About This Event

Raptured by the neck of the flute and his rambunctious sound: the snake dances to his wild tune. From 3 continents the pipers call together; from South Korea – Si-Youl charms with Piri flute, bright, buzzing and raspy to spit fire. From Australia, and known for ensnaring the most venomous, Louise Elliott charms from a western concert flute. From Poland, yet calling from the native american tradition, Alexander Dmochowski charms from the wooden flute. Together accompanied by the almighty Regen Pan African Rhythm section they set to charm the audience on a journey through each tribe and a night of fusion cast between all. This event is free. Grand Union will perform on the 4th Friday of the month (Friday 28th February and Friday 28th March).
